General Information
Classes may be taken on a drop-in basis, without preregistration, for $15.00 per class. Registration begins 30 minutes before class start time and ends 5 minutes after the class begins.
Discount price of $13.00 applies to Students with ID, Senior Citizens over the age of 62, and the unemployed with ID and current unemployment check. Most classes are in session for one hour and thirty minutes.
Dressing rooms with lockers are available. Please do not consume food for at least two hours before class.

Yoga Sadhana Center Class Descriptions
NEW BEGINNERS: Designed for first-time students. A gentle pace with demonstrations of asanas and special attention from the instructor.
LeveL I: For all students new to Iyengar Yoga. Basis of method is taught in standing poses,Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) and other fundamental postures.
Level I/II: serves both Level I and Level II students Using instructions for and attention to the needs of both levels. Preliminary stages of inversions e.g. Adho Mukha Vrksasana (full arm balance), Salamba Sirasasana (supported Head stand) are introduced.
Level II: Students must be well practiced in Level I, and Level I/II postures, including Salamba Sarvangasana, Sirsasana (head stand), backbends, and introductory Pranayama (breathing exercises) are taught.
Level III: Students must hold five-minute Sirsasana (headstand), push up into UrdhvaDhanurasana (reverse bow or full back arch),and be able to go into Adho Mukha Vrksasana (handstand) unassisted. Level I and II Postures are consolidated. Sirsasana variations, intermediate postures, and seated pranayama are taught. Independent practice is established.
Level IV: Students must hold Sirsasana for 10 minutes, balance in Sirsasana II, and practice independently. Exploration of advanced postures and advanced work in asana and pranayama is taught.
Gentle: A more moderately paced and less rigorous class.
Restorative: Rejuvenating and passive poses.At least six weeks of prior experience required.
KIRTAN: Is glorifying God, Krsna, Allah, Buddha The Supreme Being, or whatever way we understand that Being, with full love and devotion in joyfulness.
SATSANG: SAT means True or Real. SANG means to associate, as in the proverb, you are what you associate with. Satsang is an association of devotees who devote their time in remembering God, the Supreme Being, through study of scriptures such as the Bhagavad-gita, etc.
MANTRA MEDITATION: A powerful technique of chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra connecting with breathing and at the same time being one pointedly aware of hearing only the mantra with full concentration. It helps us achieve our true nature, which is Sat-Cit-Ananda (eternal,full of knowledge and blissful).
